About Me
Hi, I’m LaMonte Tandy
I’m the person you’ll actually talk to if you reach out – not a call center, not a rotating team. Just me. I got into real estate investing in 2014, closed my first deal in 2016, and spent the years since owning and managing rental properties. Now I’m bringing that experience home to Indianapolis and rebuilding this business the right way: with honest information first, and pressure never.
My Story
Why Indianapolis, and Why This Work
Indianapolis is my hometown. I’ve lived in a handful of other cities over the years, and I kept noticing the same pattern – the same kind of growth and change repeating itself from place to place. When I moved back, I saw that same opportunity here, and I wanted to be close to family again too.
Real estate has always interested me. I’ve owned four multi-family rental properties over the years, and I held real estate licenses in both South Carolina – where I was also a Realtors Association member – and Indiana, though only for my own deals, never to represent clients. Both licenses have since expired, but that experience is part of how I learned this business from the ground up.
Being a landlord taught me things you can’t learn any other way – what it’s like to deal with tenant turnover, unexpected repairs, and the stress of a property that’s become hard to manage. I’ve also watched friends and family lose homes simply because they didn’t have the right information, or waited too long to act. That’s the real reason I do this work: I believe people deserve good information to make their own decisions, not pressure to make mine.
Driving Properties
Before Real Estate
Before Real Estate, I Spent Years Designing Buildings
Before I started buying houses, I had a career in residential and commercial building design – homes, apartment complexes, and commercial projects in multiple states, including work on office buildings and sports facilities right here in downtown Indianapolis. I was involved from the earliest concept sketches all the way through field measurements and final walkthroughs.
When I walk through your house, I’m looking at it the way I was trained to – not guessing at what’s involved in fixing what I see.

What I Believe
A Cash Offer Is One Option – Not the Only One
I’m not trying to be the fastest cash buyer in Indianapolis. I want to be the one who’s honest with you about your options – even the ones that don’t involve selling to me.
If your house is in a spot where listing with an agent would likely put more money in your pocket, and your timeline allows for it, I’ll tell you that. If your property looks like a strong candidate to keep as a rental, I’ll mention that too. I’d rather be straightforward with you than push a deal that isn’t actually the right move for your situation.
You stay in control the whole way through. You can ask questions, take your time, compare your options, or walk away – no pressure, no obligation, and no hard feelings either way.
No Call Center
Who You’ll Actually Talk To
Every phone call, every walkthrough, every offer – that’s me, personally, start to finish. Whenever you reach out, you’re reaching the actual person who owns this business, not a script reader following a queue.
If part of a deal involves working with a buying partner or investor (which sometimes happens), I’ll tell you plainly before you ever sign anything. Nothing about how a deal gets structured changes your price or your terms – and nothing happens without your full understanding first.
Where I Stand
What I Will and Will Not Promise
- I’ll do my best to understand your situation before I offer an opinion.
- I’ll explain my process clearly, in plain language.
- I’ll answer your questions directly, even the uncomfortable ones.
- I’ll walk through the numbers with you, not just hand you a figure.
- I’ll tell you if I believe another option might serve you better.
What I won’t promise: market value, the highest possible offer, or that a cash sale is the right move for everyone. It isn’t, and I’d rather tell you that upfront than after you’ve spent time on a call.
Start With What You Know. You Can Decide Later.
You don’t need to have every detail figured out before you call or fill out a form. You don’t need to tell your whole story just to ask a question. I’m not here to trap you into one choice – I’m here to give you real information and let you decide what’s right for you.
If a cash sale isn’t the best move for your situation, I’ll say so. If it is, I’ll walk you through exactly what that looks like, honestly and clearly, at your pace.
